AC electrolysis creates hydrogen water with hydrogen radicals occluded in magnesium, rather than dissolved gaseous hydrogen

AC electrolysis improves water quality using a grounding electrode and a pair of active electrodes. An alternating voltage is applied to the two active electrodes at a frequency of approximately 30,000 Hertz. This converts water into hydrogen, causing the Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) value of the water to be reduced to about -270 mV.

Tap water generally has an ORP of +200 to +600 mV. Bottled water tends to have high ORP of more than +400 mV. The Aqua-Friends hydrogen water is different because it has a negative ORP reading, making it anti-oxidizing. This enables the water to donate free electrons to help counteract harmful free radicals that contribute to aging and disease in the body.

AC electrolysis using magnesium alloy plates generates hydrogen radicals that are occluded (trapped) in minerals and cannot escape for as long as 72 hours, even if the hydrogen water boiled or frozen. This compares favorably to very short shelf life of hydrogen water containing H2 gas, which quickly escapes into the air, especially when boiled.
